Meet my neighbors!!

 

Three years ago we moved into a sweet little neighborhood where children ride their bikes in the streets, families walk to the park, and parents relax at outdoor concerts. A neighborhood where people talk to each other and help each other.

 

What a breath of fresh air it was to meet Crystal, Matt and their children. They are JUST LIKE US! They work hard but play even harder.  Camping and riding roller coasters are a summer norm. When Crystal asked me to photograph their family, I’ll be honest, I was a bit nervous. I had already gotten to know them but in a neighborly way. Once we got started at Woodlawn Beach, I knew that we were going to have a great time. The kids loved getting their portraits taken and Matt loved that Crystal did not! I don’t think I have giggled that much during a portrait session, ever.

By the end of the session Crystal was happy it was over and I had gotten over my nerves!
